ok, in reference to the song, I'm sorry! but really, it's complementing the mood right now.

I went to my college orientation yesterday, and 5hrs with my dad makes me want to scream; seriously after we got home I got back in my car and when I was out of the driveway I blasted my music and screamed, motion city soundtrack, btw. Anyway, the campus is beautiful and completely surrounded by greenery, which is good because the outside is a complete shit-hole(sorry kookie). The town outside is decrepit, many things are boarded up and overgrown, and for some reason there's an abundance of car dealerships and autoparts stores. In fact, just outside the campus is an interstate. If you haven't heard I'm going to be living off campus, but in a day's inn or something, but there's a shuttle that will get the other college kids and me there. With this setup I think I'll be good as long as I'm between the campus and the hotel.

I have to be there on aug 22 for freshman orientation and then classes start on aug 25. So with that looming over my head I'm just thinking of what I'll need on the way. Oh, and I got my classes too, my AP scores got me out of a lot of classes and the next advanced classes where already filled so I had to bulk up on some General Education classes that every undergraduate needed. So my course load for my first semester is physics(really easy stuff), programming with C++(could pose a problem with my computer being a mac), then the Gen. Ed.s are some sort of cinema class(zomfg), an English class that looks at the prevailing themes of literature from midevil times to present day, and lastly a political science class that looks at contemporary concepts like conservatism, liberalism, fascism, anarchism, feminism, and environmentalism.

I guess it's just hitting me right now that this is when I'm starting to get-up and leave here and I'm both sad that I might not be near my friends and scared of what's going to happen to me. The obvious solution is not let the former happen and trust it won't, which will soften the latter.

Now what else to do? I'm gonna go do a crazy dance and see where it goes from there..... DESU!
